The Woodland Cottage

The Woodland Cottage” is one of three cottages in the converted hay barn. It shares an entrance via the large double barn doors with the neighbouring “Meadow Cottage”. The property is “upside down” with the open-plan living space taking advantage of the high beamed ceiling. The views from the front are across open farmland, usually with sheep or cows in residence.

Inside, the property sleeps 4 and comprises:

• Upstairs a large, open-plan living space with kitchen, dining table with seating for 4, leather sofas seating 5, gas fire and TV/DVD.
• Downstairs is a double room (bed usually against one wall but can also be arranged with narrow access to both sides) and a super king room (which can also be arranged as a twin). Please let us know your layout choices when you make your booking.
• Downstairs is also the bathroom with shower over bath
• Free unlimited wifi.
• Cot and high chair available on request.

All guests are free to use the games room (with table tennis and pool table), and shared picnic tables and BBQ in the garden. There is also a coin-operated laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer. Due to patchy mobile phone coverage there is a free phone available in the laundry for guest use.
